There are also plenty of things to do in this fabulous weather on Brazil holidays. Each year one of the major events of Brazil takes place, their annual carnival. The carnival is held in Rio De Janeiro, Salvador, Recife and Olinda and is full of scantily clad women wearing extravagant sequins and impressive headdresses as well as massive floats covered in bright flowers and glitter. Brazil also adopts the German festival Oktoberfest, a celebration of traditional German beer. During this festival the music plays and the beer flows as partygoers dress in traditional German lederhosen and chug on toby jugs. For a quieter escape why not visit the island of Tinhare where cars are forbidden and visitors have to explore the island on the back of a tractor. It doesn’t get any more remote than this on holidays to Brazil!
