Guide to Help You Enjoy you Holiday in Bulgaria

All inclusive Bulgaria holidays are less travelled by most tourists and are only beginning to emerge as popular breaks away. Bulgaria is part of the Balkans sharing a border with Greece, Turkey, the Republic of Macedonia, Romania and Serbia. All inclusive Bulgaria holidays look out onto the west side of the Black Sea and enjoy comfortable summers with a few gentle breezes.

Bulgaria holidays are normally taken in the coast but city break are also common as well. North West Bulgaria is home to the country's capital and is also handy for crossing into Serbia or Romania. South west Bulgaria is full of snow peaked mountain tops while central northern Bulgaria is where old historic Bulgaria awakens. The Bulgarian Black Sea coast is of course where the tourists have started to flock. Here you can sip a cocktail and watch the sun go down on the horizon over the smooth sea on Bulgaria holidays.

Al inclusive Bulgaria holidays are gorgeous getaways that have only been recognised by the mainstream tourist crowd in the last few years. Here are few tit bits of information to keep you in the know while you're over there.

  • The Bulgarian capital is the beautifully named Sofia.
  • The currency in Bulgaria is lev and the official language is Bulgarian. Bulgarian is a mixture of Serbian, Russian and other eastern European tongues but some words are used globally and are easy to pick up on if you are making a stab at learning a few phrases. The unfortunate thing about this language though is that it is written in the Cyrillic alphabet, making well signposted attractions frustratingly futile to read to us English speaking visitors on all inclusive Bulgaria holidays. However, most Bulgarians know at least a little English as foreign languages are key in their school system so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
  • You can now receive discount for using public transport such as trains or buses if you are travelling in large groups so it is always valuable to check this out before you plan any day excursions or indeed book with tour operators.
