It is a small village on the very tip of the thin peninsula and is known for holding some of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. The climate on all inclusive Las Galeras holidays is hot and humid with temperatures reaching around 29 degrees in the warmer months. The main attractions on Las Galeras holidays are lazing about the extraordinary sandy beaches. No effort is required, just lie down and relax. Playa Galeras’ main beach is a pale sand retreat fringed with palm trees to give you any shade you may need. There is one restaurant on the beach that serves traditional Dominican Republic food, a superb way to end your day on a Caribbean beach on Las Galeras holidays. Another spectacular beach spot on all inclusive Las Galeras holidays is Playa Rincon. This five kilometre stretch of white sand is lined with almond and coconut trees and is magical place to stroll across before your return. You will need to take a four by four vehicle or taxi to the beach as it is a 30 minute drive away through a winding dirt track and on all inclusive Las Galeras holidays. Playa Fronton is another sun baked beach destination although it could be described as remote at best. You can either take a two hour trek through jungle and mountain planes or sail over via ferry. Either way, you can be assured of all the seclusion you need on this paradise shore. |
