Las Terrenas holidays have a hot and humid climate and with a few breezes. The water here is a warm Atlantic current. The weather in Las Terrenas is generally hot all year round with only a few degrees difference between the Summer and Winter months. There is no rainy season in the Dominican Republic although there are a few rain showers but this shouldn’t necessarily spoil your holidays to Las Terrenas.
The beaches on all inclusive holidays in Las Terrenas on the Semana Peninsula are some of the best in the world even though some may be a bit hard to get to. Most hotels line the beach fronts and have their own diving schools for you to practice your underwater exploration with. Playa Punta Popy is one of the less picturesque beaches on all inclusive in Las Terrenas but is favoured for its water sports due to its stronger winds. Expect to see or try your hand at windsurfing or kite boarding while on Playa Punta Popy. Other nearby beaches such as Playa Bonita and Playa Las Balleras are gorgeous sandy white escapes and really worth the visit if you want to explore your destination a little further.
