Guide to Help You Enjoy you Holiday in Egypt

A landscape straight out of the set of an India Jones movie awaits you on all inclusive Egypt holidays. The hotel resorts are among the most modern you will find anywhere in the world, but step outside and the landscape will not have changed for thousands of years. There are two levels of temperature in Egypt, hot and even hotter. In mid-summer, it is the Red Sea resorts that prove most popular, the main reason is when the heat becomes unbearable the red sea is an escape. This is a divers and snorkelers paradise, and even if you have not tried it before it is guaranteed amazement, which will keep you entertained for your whole holiday. There are many all inclusive Egypt holidays which come with some arrangement for a diving package. Look around before you book if this is high on your agenda

Other resorts that you can enjoy all inclusive holidays to Egypt include Cairo and the Nile Valley. The latter holds many of Egypt’s famous treasures, while if you are in Cairo a trip to Giza will allow you to explore some great pyramids. If you choose to stay in the Nile Valley on your Egypt all inclusive, you will more than likely be staying at the resort of Luxor. In Luxor, a few exciting trips you should not miss out on are Tombs of the Nobles, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. We will go into more details in our Luxor holiday guide.

It is recommended that if you want to do any sightseeing on your all inclusive Egypt holiday that you do so as early as possible, to escape the midday sun. Most hotels will run their own tours. You may be able to get them cheaper going direct to the source, although do be careful and agree that this is for the whole tour and not just one way before you leave.

Simple tips to help you enjoy your all inclusive holidays in Egypt are:
  • Always carry bottled water, to avoid dehydration.
  • Wear a hat and plenty of high factor sun cream.
  • Take the same sensible precautions in Egypt that you would take in any country, make sure where you eat is acceptable and don’t buy fruit from unknown sources. Stomach upsets and diarrhoea, although common can be avoided with a little common sense.
  • Immunisations for Egypt according to the NHS are diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, hepatitis A, typhoid.
  • Calling the UK use the international dialling code 0044 then drop the first 0 of your normal area code.
  • Travellers cheques can be exchanged in most banks or can normally in your hotel.
  • The official currency is Egyptian Pound or the coins piasters (pt).
  • A taxi, you do not pay for the taxi; you pay for per seat. Be prepared to share your taxi with others.
This simple guide is for information purposes only, and while on your all inclusive Egypt holidays you should always take the same precautions as you would at home. Egypt is a safe destination, but like any country do not carry large quantities of cash and never pay for anything before completion.
