Guide to Help You Enjoy you Holiday in Dahab

All inclusive Dahab holidays are great for lone travellers on shoestring budgets. The name Dahab actually means “Gold” which aptly describes its sandy Red Sea coastline. The town is 62 miles North of Sharm el-Sheikh on the Sanai peninsula and is a great nearby destination for getting to know the biblical mountain of Sanai a bit better. Mountain jeep and camel safaris are widely available on all inclusive Dahab holidays.

The southern end is probably the best place to stay on Dahab holidays as it is the most tourist friendly area. High-end luxury hotels are nearby to amenities such as shops and taxi companies. However, Dahab holidays are still cheap affairs along the shoreline if you are prepared to be a little further away from the better attractions.

The beach and waters are the main draws on all inclusive Dahab holidays so the cheaper option nearer the shore may be the best idea for stony-broke travellers. There are various shores, bays and diving spots to investigate around the coast. There is a coral reef close to the shore full of colourful marine life. There is also a particular spot called the Blue Hole where divers commonly swim on all inclusive Dahab holidays. The Blue Hole is a deep valley in the seabed surrounded by pink and orange coral reefs. The sea level here drops to around 80 metres and you can catch a glimpse of some beautiful exotic fish and marine mammals. For less experienced divers however it is probably best to snorkel nearer the coast instead as some diving spots further out can be treacherous places for less confident water sports enthusiasts.
