Guide to Help You Enjoy your Holiday in Luxor 2020 & 2021

All inclusive Luxor holidays are along the east side of the River Nile opposite the neighbouring banks of Thebes. Luxor grew out of Thebes ruins. The birth of the new town is reflected in its old town roots through various ancient remnants contrasted with new modern buildings. All inclusive 2020 / 2021 packages at Luxor make for amazing day trips but you may need to plan your time if you want to feast upon the significant landmarks of Thebes on the west bank.

    • Flight time from UK: 5 hrs 15 mins aprox.
Suitable for: Those who enjoy sight-seeing and day trips
      Currency: Egyptian Pound
Beaches: No beaches, but most hotels have brilliant pools
Recommended Restaurants: Pizza Roma-it, Puddleduck & Jewel of the Nile.

    Luxor

As mentioned before there are countless ancient attractions to behold on Luxor holidays. Such attractions include Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu, Luxor Temple and The Ramesseum. Hatshepsut Temple is probably one of the most interesting places on holidays in Luxor as it was discovered as recently as the 19th century and is still being restored.

Below is some useful information on all inclusive holidays in Luxor in order to get the most out of your stay.

    • A couple of landmarks per day should be enough running around. The aim of the game on most breaks away is to relax and you will appreciate the sights more if you take your time around the area of Luxor.
    • Holiday landmarks are visited early in the morning as the midday sun in Egypt can be so harsh. However it is also a good time to visit attractions after midday as they are less crowded.
    • You aren’t allowed to take photographs in most tombs. Most landmarks sell their own merchandise and although this is probably not the same as taking your own picture you might as well browse the souvenir stands.
