All inclusive Alonissos holidays are an unspoilt Grecian odyssey. Alonissos is one of the least travelled to Sporades islands nearest to Skopelos. All inclusive Alonissos holidays can be travelled to via ferry from Skathos and are ideal for older couples or someone in search of a desert island destination. The barren coast is probably not ideal for young families who may be better suited to discovering mainland Greece.

Alonissos holidays give travellers plenty of beaches to choose from along its linear coasts. The island can actually be trekked from one end to the other thanks to a dirt track that runs through it, almost like Alonissos’ spine. The destruction by an earthquake on the island in 1965 means that most houses and accommodation available on Alonissos holidays are fairly recent. Don’t expect much majestic architecture here but at least be thankful that your accommodation should be more up to date than some Greek hotels and apartments. On the upside, some of these stark new buildings also give a great designer look to the place unique to any other Sporades island.

Unfortunately all inclusive Alonissos holidays don’t offer a lot of amenities and getting there is hardly convenient. Tavernas offer mostly traditional entertainment and Grecians always try to make travellers feel at home so make the most of the atmosphere in these quaint bars while you can. Relaxing is usually the chief concern of travellers on all inclusive Alonissos holidays. Alonissos is a go slow resort and if you aren’t a go slow person this holiday will not be for you.
