Useful Information to Help your Holiday in Playa Blanca 2020 & 2021
All inclusive Playa Blanca holidays are set in the south of the island of Lanzarote. Lanzarote is one of the more popular places to visit in the Canaries. All the Canary Islands are known for their volcanic landscape. Thankfully most volcanoes on these islands are now dormant but you can see traces of their past activity everywhere you go if you are holidaying in this part of the world. Molten lava has hardened to form smooth dark rock plains while the beaches are distinctively dark and rough in texture with the grey silt from the volcanic remains. This all adds to the charm of all inclusive 2020 / 2021 packages in Playa Blanca.

The beaches around the southern end of Lanzarote and Playa Blanca holidays are some of the best on the island. A 15 minute walk away from the main resort sits Playa Dorada which is protected by strong Atlantic currents. Playa Flamingo holds this similar trait and you will find it right to the west of here on the other side of the port on holidays in Playa Blanca. Please remember however that swimming too far out is not advised. The currents in this part of the Atlantic can be particularly strong.
Most locals and tourists alike don’t find much of a change between the old traditional fishing village of all inclusive holidays Playa Blanca in years gone by and the built up package holiday destination it is today. The immediate coastline here is small and quite rocky. Stone steps lead down from the main shops to the beach below. This isn’t exactly handy for families with pushchairs or heavy bags full of supplies to spend a day here on Playa Blanca all inclusive so maybe you should visit the beaches previously mentioned first.
