All inclusive holidays in Bayahibe are in a region of laid back, unspoiled beaches, off-shore nature parks, and sugar plantations, nearby towns and villages, such as intriguing La Romana, and dusty Bayahibe itself, are all built on the profits of the island’s sugar industries. All inclusive Bayahibe holidays are 89 miles south east of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The town has countless attractions and great facilities. Formerly a fishing village, Bayahibe is now expanding with the arrival of new hotels fringing its coast and inland parts of town.

There’s plenty to do on holidays in Bayahibe if sunbathing’s not your thing, Altos de Chavon, just out of town, is a re-creation of a 1700’s style Italian township with crafts workshops; an archaeological museum; cobble streets; and an old-fashioned church.

Bayahibe holidays provide one of the entrances to the Parque Nacional del Este and Isla Soana. The park comprises of sandstone walkways formed a million years ago and caves covering pre-Columbian carvings of the Tainos, the Dominican Republic’s initial occupants.

The shoreline’s astonishing coral formation makes for vibrant diving opportunities and snorkelling too. The south-eastern tip of all inclusive Bayahibe is Calderas Bay, a shadowy vicinity of mangrove swamps, lagoons and quiet villages. Some gorgeous sandy beaches can also be found in Bayahibe, particularly in central Bayahibe and Playa Dominicus. Most of these beaches have toilets and changing facilities that visitors can use.

The resorts along the coast include loads of shopping chances, great eateries and bars and all means of water sports opportunities but Bayahibe, despite its good nightclubs, is basically an all inclusive resort to come and chill in Caribbean style, under the sun.
