Guide to Help You Enjoy your Holiday in Ronda

All inclusive Ronda holidays are set in the south of Spain in the region of Andalucia. The town of Ronda is a historic settlement with a difference. Ronda All inclusive looks over a steep drop into the ocean as the town is built on a rocky cliff that is connected to another outcrop via a bridge over a gorge. It was the last town to fall to Christian rule during the time of the Moorish occupation of Spain and many Moorish elements are still present here today.

Ronda

There are lots of historic buildings to investigate on Ronda holidays. Casa Del Rey Moro is a large 18th century residence built on what once was a palace constructed when Ronda was under Moorish occupation. The unique thing about such a mansion is the memorable 365 steps that take visitors down to the Rio Guadalevin. Palacio Mandragon is another spectacular building. Following the Reconquest most of the building had to be either renovated or built from scratch but the Moorish patio still retains the original ornately decorated building work and intricate mosaics. One of the most awe inspiring pieces of architecture on holidays in Ronda is the Puente Neuvo. This is the distinctive bridge that joins the two regions over the gorge.

Another thing that all inclusive holidays Ronda are renowned for is that the town is the initial birthplace of bullfighting. Plaza De Toros sits at the east of the town and is the country’s oldest and most prominent bullring. You can watch a bullfight at the bullring on all inclusive packages in Ronda but do be prepared to see some gore!
