The museum is attached to the local synagogue built there following the settlement of Austrian and German Jewish refugees in the 1940’s during the 2nd world war. If this isn’t really your thing on Sosua all inclusive you can always head to one of the nearest beaches. Playa Sosua beach is only about a kilometre long but it is a beautiful spot full of lively shops and good facilities.
