The main beach in Javea is El Arena which is made of fine pale sand. This is quite a crowded beach in the middle of many large hotel complexes so if you do feel like sunbathing it is best to get down there early. Lifeguards patrol here daily from 11am to 7pm so this is probably the best beach to go to if you are with children on family holidays in Javea.

Another popular beach nearby the better known El Arena on Javea all inclusive is Montana. This is a picturesque sandy beach close to traditional holiday villas. If water sports are your thing this is the beach for you. Here you can windsurf, water ski and sail along its glassy blue waters. You are also close to La Grava beach here near Javea’s central port where a church resides. A nice cove is also round the corner.
