Guide to Help You Enjoy your Holiday in Portaventura
All inclusive Portaventura holidays are on the Costa Dorada. The Coasta Dorada is in the Spanish region of Catalonia. Roughly translated Costa Dorada means “Golden Beaches.” The region of Catalonia borders France and so is more European in character as a result. The Costa Dorada has mild Winters and Summers where temperatures rise to about 26 degrees. There is an hour’s transfer to all inclusive packages in Portaventura from the airport and the place is strictly family orientated. This would be because the place isn’t so much a resort but a massive water park with four separate hotels of choice to stay in.

There are lots of water park rides to choose from on Portaventura holidays. El Tifon and El Torrente are the major rides that most people rave about. El Tifon is a range of water shoots and is only for more experienced swimmers. This is also for adults only as you are often sliding through the shoots in total darkness and your head can be submerged in water. However, if you do like your thrills and spills this is the ride for you. A gentler option on holidays in Portaventura is the El Torrente where adult groups can sail down these shoots and rapids in large dinghies.
There are also lots of rides suitable for children and little ones on Portaventura all inclusive. El Trianglulo De Las Bermudas is a age and disability friendly wave pool that offers different intensities of waves and ripples. This is one of the most popular rides at Portaventura as everyone can join in.
