Guide to Help You Enjoy your Holiday in Sitges

You will find all inclusive Sitges holidays in the north east of Spain in the region of Catalonia. More European than the rest of Spain, Catalonia shares a border with France. The weather here is mild in Winter and temperatures scale to highs of 26 degrees in the Summer. All inclusive packages in Sitges rest in a part of the coast popular with foreign visitors and expats called the Costa Dorada. Roughly translated Costa Dorada means “Coast of Beaches.” Sitges is approximately 35 kilometres from the large city of Barcelona which is great day trip for shopping and sightseeing.

You can easily walk around the main vicinity of Sitges holidays or hail a passing cab. One of the main attractions is the Cau Ferrat museum which is was the former home of modernist painter Santiago Russinol. There are several examples of his work around the house as well as a Picasso painting works of art by El Greco. You will also see a few iron sculptures created by Spanish sculptors which give Cau Ferrat its name as it roughly translates as “Iron Place” or “Place of Iron.” The best time to go on an autumn holiday in Sitges is between the 15th and 23rd of September when the Santa Tecla Festival takes place.

All inclusive holidays Sitges are great for shopping. Most shops are open on a Sunday and you will find many designer names here if you are looking for a flash handbag or a remarkable piece of jewellery to take home to someone back home. Some shops on Sitges all inclusive don’t open until after 5pm so save some money for the evening as well.
